The A52 Glebe Street Southbound is partially blocked with heavy traffic, due to an incident near Kingsway, by the Glebe pub. There’s also a collision on the A53 Newcastle Road, with the road partly blocked in both directions, near Rock Lane. This one is affecting traffic between Loggerheads and Blackbrook. The Central Motorway Policing Group (CMPG), which covers almost 400 miles of motorway, stopped the motorist on the M6 southbound between junction 14, Stafford North, and junction 13, Stafford South, at around 6.20am. While they originally clocked the driver on his mobile phone a roadside breath test then found the man was around two and a half times the legal alcohol limit.
